JOB OPPORTUNITY: FINANCE OFFICER - Extended to February 21, 2023 4:30pm
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Treaty 7 Urban Indian Housing Authority requires a Finance Officer to perform financial reporting duties for day-to-day operations. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Finance Officer will be responsible for the preparation of all relevant financial information, including financial statements, annual budgets, cash-flow statements, accounts payable/receivable and payroll. The Finance Officer will work closely with the Executive Director in monitoring the financial status of Treaty 7 Housing; and financial reports to the Board of Directors at regularly scheduled board meetings.
The successful candidate:
Have a Management degree with 5 years’ experience or
a Business Administration diploma with 7 years’ experience.
Must be familiar with Quickbooks online. (QBO)
Must be familiar with digital business services.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Must be available for Board of Directors meetings as required.
Must have a reliable vehicle.
Must have a Class 5 driver’s license.
Must have an appreciation of the cultural uniqueness and a clear, and concise understanding of the socio-economic circumstances within the Treaty 7 territory.
